The Anne Arundel Soil Conservation District participates in a variety of programs designed to educate the public in Anne Arundel County and throughout the State of Maryland about the issues facing our natural resources.

The following is a list of programs that the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS), Maryland Departments of Agriculture (MDA), Natural Resources (DNR) and The Environment (MDE) sponsor in conjunction with the Anne Arundel Soil Conservation District:

Soil Health Awareness Program – NRCS

MASCD Coloring Contest

The AASCD proudly sponsors an coloring contest in association with the Maryland Association of Soil Conservation Districts (MASCD) each Spring. Elementary schools throughout Anne Arundel are invited to participate in the local coloring contest.
