Anne Arundel County Envirothon
The Anne Arundel County Envirothon is a hands-on environmental problem-solving competition for high school-aged students. Participating teams complete training and testing in five natural resource categories: i.e., soils/landuse, aquatic ecology, forestry, wildlife, and current environmental issues. This year’s 5th issue is Agriculture and the Environment: Knowledge & Technology to Feed the World. The winning team from the local Envirothon will advance to the state competition and winners of the state competition will advance to the National Competition which will be held at North Carolina State University.
